Scope and content:: This collection contains correspondence and tariffs. Tables showing fares and freights between stations named in tables by tariffs of January 1st, 1876, and by the provisions of Act No. 3, of the Supplementary Report of the Commissioners of Transportation, dated January 14th, 1878. Table 5. Ticket rates. Table 6. Grain in carloads, loaded and unloaded at expense of shipper. Table 7. Carload rates, Class D, livestock, etc., loaded and unloaded at expense of shipper. Part of a group of Central Pacific and Southern Pacific freight and passenger tariffs published in Appendix to the Journals of the Senate and Assembly of the 22nd Session of the Legislature of the State of California.
