Scope and content:

Travel diary of USC student June Harris documenting her trip from Los Angeles to and across Europe in the summer of 1921. The diary is stamped on the cover "ΑΧΩ/My Trip to Europe/June Harris"; on the inside flyleaf is inscribed "May June Harris/623 So. Bonnie Braie/Los Angeles, Cal. U.S.A./From Clarence Dixon June 6, 1921". Entries begin Saturday, June 18, 1921, when Harris and her parents boarded the train to Montreal (where they would depart for Southampton on the Corsican) and end on Sunday, September 18 when she arrived back in Los Angeles. The diary contains entries for virtually every day of the trip. Also included are a few loose pieces of ephemera (tickets) and some stamps that have been affixed to a few pages.
