A collection of 56 black and white snapshot photographs mounted on pages of a photograph album. The photographs depict people, activities, and scenery on the islands of Kaua'i and O'ahu, Hawai'i in approximately 1910. The photographs include Native Hawaiians and a thatched building, Chinese and Japanese laborers, and agriculture such as rice fields, sugarcane, and a pineapple plantation. Nearly all of the photographs are labeled with handwritten captions. One caption refers to the visitors camping in the mountains of Kaua'i at "Mr. Gay's" during Halley's Comet. Images of Honolulu include Diamond Head, Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, and Waikiki. There are also group photographs of travelers onboard the SS Mongolia and SS Wilhelmina traveling from "San Francisco to Honolulu."
