The collection consists of nine by-law booklets from various dairy associations across California between 1909 to 1924. The booklets reveal the history of dairy farming and operations in California. Some of the areas include Petaluma, Tulare City, Fresno County, Central Valley, and San Diego County. The by-laws detail adminstrative articles of each association. In addition, some booklets outline provisions in sales agreement and loaning. Of particular note, some of the by-law booklets have annotations by previous owners.
