Biographical / historical:: Was the editor of Trace Magazine, 1952 to present; editor, Eight American Poets (An Anthology) London, 1952; editor, Poetry Los Angeles, 1958; Host on Poetry & Talk, and Reading Rail programs for University of Southern California radio. 1957-59; editor, U.S. Library of Congress, taped series of 24 American poets reading their own works, 1959; lectures and talks on modern writing, including radio broadcasts for American networks and abroad; guest-editor, various special issues of periodicals.
Acquisition information:: The collection was purchased for the Patrons of the Library by English student Jan Amsberry and the Patrons in turn donated to the Special Collections.
