Collection consists of two manuscript parts. Part 1: Henry Sigerist's manuscript translation from Latin to English of Johann Peter Frank's 1790 address, "The people's misery: mother of diseases". Part 2: Sigerist's introduction to his paper, "The people's misery: mother of diseases; an address, delivered in 1790 by Johann Peter Frank" (Bulletin of the history of medicine, v. 9, no. 1, Jan. 1941, p. 81-100). Pt. 1 inscribed to Milton I. Roemer, 1947. Text composed in unlined, blue paper-covered notebooks.
