Biographical / historical:

Frederick A. Hoover was the 100th individual to receive his aviator license (June 8th 1912). He performed stunts in air shows and was known as 'The Death Cheating Aviator". He was a member of the Early Birds of Aviation.

The materials in this Collection were donated to the San Diego Air and Space Museum.
