Nick Shelbi was a gay man and founding member of ACT UP Golden Gate. He was active in the leather scene in San Francisco and won the Mr. Drummer contest in 2000. This collection includes his personal papers, photographs, posters, home movies, and other ephemera. It also includes materials related to his activist work.
