Over 1,000 posters from World War I and World War II. Posters used for educational, recruiting and propagandizing purposes. Issued by organizations including the Red Cross, the YMCA, the American Library Association, the Liberty Loan Co., and the California Civic League. Also issued by federal government agencies and departments including the Treasury Department, Army, Food Administration, War Office, Federal Board for Vocational Education, the National War Garden Commission, and military recruitment agencies. Foreign posters include French, Australian and Canadian. circa 1914-18 and 1939-45, undated
