This collection from American director and producer Bob Finkel (1918-2012) consists of scripts and videotapes. Scripts include those for the People's Choice Awards, the Emmy Awards, "Circus of the Stars," and more. Videotapes include recordings of shows that Finkel worked on, including multiple Bing Crosby television specials. One box contains original art for "Great American Celebrity Road Race."

Biographical / historical:

Bob Finkel (1918-2012) was an American producer and director. He produced episodes of "The Andy Williams Show," "The Dinah Shore Chevy Show," and "The Jerry Lewis Show." Finkel also produced multiple broadcasts of the People's Choice Awards, the Oscars, and the Emmy Awards. He directed episodes of "Barney Miller," "The Bob Newhart Show," and "Circus of the Stars." Finkel was also a member of the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, American Federation of Musicians, Actors' Equity Association, and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
