The collection includes notes, receipts, a will, a power of attorney, and other legal documents; correspondents include: Theodosia Burr Alston, Jeremy Bentham, Thomas Hunt Flandrau, James Monroe, A. J. Frederick Prevost, Caesar A. Rodney, Samuel Smith, Thomas Truxton, William P. Van Ness, and Marinus Willett.
