Includes issues of Sign of Jonah newsletter which functioned as a central place for the church community to exchange Church and local news. The newsletters include a wide variety of material including articles by congregants, interviews, calendars, Church financial status, book reviews, announcements, Church committee and department news, member profiles and updates, choir and Church music news, local school and education programs, sermons, "hymns of the month," information on propositions, world news and current affairs, updates on local inititative and organizations such as local recycling program, Toberman Neighborhood Center, and Harbor Interfaith Services.
Church leadership also wrote a monthly journal, "The Ram's Horn."
Issues include names of editors, associate editors, art editors, contributors, and production team members. Later issues include photographs.

St. Luke's Presbyterian Church was founded on May 13th 1956, with 147 charter members. The congregation's first pastor was Captain Thomas M. Gibson, a former Navy Chaplain who served in World War II and the Korean War. The congregation met at Dapplegray Intermediate School for its first six years. On August 5, 1962, the first service was held on the two and half acre church site at 26825 Rolling Hills Road, which is still in use today.
Sign of Jonah, the church newsletter/journal, began publishing in September 1968, under the Reverend Dana Prom Smith.
