Scope and content:

Photocopies from the originals in the private collection of Philippine Ambassador Eduardo Quintero. Material pertains to World War II claims of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Filipino veterans against the Government of the United States. Volume 1: Letters and reports, 1942-53. 378 pages. Volume 2: "Summary Report of the Philippine Conference Joint RP-US Veterans Commission" Malacanang Park, July 1966. 235 pages. Volume 3: "Summary Report of the Meetings of the Joint RP-US Negotiating Panels RP-US Veterans Commission" Quezon City, December 1966. 171 pages.

Biographical / historical:

Quintero served on several commissions on veterans affairs from 1953 to his retirement in the late 1960's.
