This collection consists of Barbara R. Warner's research concerning the Bear Flag Revolt. Most of her letters are addressed to Ray Allen Billington at the Huntington Library. Other letters are addressed to Martin Ridge and D.H. Woodward. In Warner's letters, she explains her research and encloses Xerox copies of clippings, genealogical material, journals, wills, and photographs related to the Bear Flat Revolt.

Barbara R. Warner was born in 1924. She was the author of The Men of the Bear Flag Revolt and Their Heritage, printed by Arthur H. Clark, 1996.
