The collection contains 1/2 inch 8-track master tape recordings engineered and produced by Jim Keylor at Army Street Studio and B.S.U. Productions, as well as the Deaf Club and Rock City music venues in San Francisco, dating 1978-1984. Additional material includes business records, photographs, flyers, and studio recording calendars.

Keylor produced and engineered albums in the early 1980s for local and regional music groups including Dead Kennedys, Offs, Impatient Youth, Pushups, Mutants, Blue Cheer, Sleepers, Dickheads, True West, Timmy Spence, X-Men, and Suspects, along with compilation albums "Can You Hear Me? Live at the Deaf Club," "Alive Rock City," and "Savoy Sound Wave Goodbye."
