The collection includes subject files, conference materials, a small amount of correspondence, ephemera, media kits, meeting minutes, notes, press releases, reports, and news clippings. Subjects cover a broad spectrum of LGBT life, including business and economics; elections in San Francisco, Oakland, and California; HIV/AIDS and other healthcare issues; marriage; nightlife; and sexuality. Also included in the collection is a small amount of audiovisual material and a small series of papers documenting the San Francisco State University chapter of Delta Lambda Phi, a gay fraternity, circa 2001-2002.
