Archival material documenting the history of the Lockheed Corporation as well as the activities of the Aero Club of Southern California and the National Aeronautic Association.
Background
Lockheed Corporation was an American aerospace company; it was founded in 1926 by Allan Lockheed. The company merged with Martin Marietta in March 1995 to become Lockheed Martin Corporation. The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) is the oldest aviation organization in the United States. The Aero Club of Southern California is the local chapter of the NAA.
