This collection consists of newspaper clippings, photographs, as well as some theatre pamphlets and programs related to the actress Anne Seymour (1909-1988). Anne Seymour worked in radio, film, television, and theatre from the 1930s until her death in 1988.

Biographical / historical:

Anne Seymour (1909-1988) was a radio, television, and film actress. She was also active in theatre. Her mother was May Davenport Seymour (1883-1967), an actress and later a curator at the Museum of the City of New York. Anne Seymour is the seventh generation of a theatrical family that traces back to 18th century Ireland.
