The collection includes a small book of poetry and two books of piano music, an insurance account book for agents of Home, Fire and Marine Insurance Company (which does not contain any written entries), an April 1913 edition of the Journal of the American Bankers Association, a June 1939 edition of “The Coast” Magazine, a day book for routes taken by the schooner Magnolia (with no written entries and the first few pages torn out), a Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. Register Book from 1915 listing every vessel registered on the Pacific Coast, two issues of “Pacific Wine and Spirit Review” from November 20, 1893 and February 5, 1894, and a typewritten “Inventory of Public Property Transferred by W. Stairley, Out-Going Collector To His Successor H.C. Bell, Collector Of Internal Revenue, Fourth District of California, March 10, 1898”.
