    John Scott was an entertainment reporter for the Los Angeles Times whose career began in the 1930s.

    Scope and Contents

    Collection consists of clippings and correspondence sent to Los Angeles Times reporter John Scott. Materials primarily consist of thank you letters from actors and performers for the articles and reviews Scott had written. Letters from notable personalities such as Ann-Margaret, Kirk Douglas, and Sammy Davis Jr. are present.
    Originally part of the Ethel Barrymore Memorial Theatre Arts Collection at the University of Southern California Library 100 Series, and was labeled 100-51 .
