Scope and content:

Records of the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group (NCNMLG) include surveys, minutes, reports, agendas, manuals, programs, correspondence, posters, newsletters, directories, materials collected for 50th anniversary, and publications.

Biographical / historical:

The first meeting of the Medical Librarians of the Bay Area took place November 12, 1947 in the library of the California State Department of Public Health, San Francisco. Known now as the Northern California and Nevada Medical Library Group, NCNMLG is an organization of individuals interested in and committed to the provision of quality health care information.

Donated by Jacqueline Wilson and Nancy Zinn in 1998.
