Abstract:
This small collection contains three manuscripts and ten letters by Argentine writer Leopoldo Lugones (1874-1938). There are three handwritten manuscripts, which were published in the Argentine newspaper La Nacion. Lugones's letters date from 1900 to the 1930s and recipients include Uruguayan novelist Carlos Reyles and Argentine historian Rómulo Zabala.

Scope and content:

This small collection contains three manuscripts and ten letters by Argentine writer Leopoldo Lugones (1874-1938). There are three handwritten manuscripts, which were published in the Argentine newspaper La Nacion: "El Perro Flaco" (11pp.), published April 23, 1937; "La Ralea de Cain" (23pp.), published September 19, 1937; and "La Mula Negra" (13pp.), publication date unknown. There is one letter to Uruguayan novelist Carlos Reyles (1900) and 9 letters dating from the 1920s-1930s and undated, including two to Argentine historian Rómulo Zabala. The other letters may also be to Zabala but are only identified as to "Mi querido viejo."
