The Nguyen Thi Nhi family records related to refugee resettlement collection is comprised of birth, death, marriage, baptism, and related family records kept by Nguyen Thi Nhi (born circa 1923) and her family, including Tran Ha Dung (born May 15, 1950), Tran Quoc Vu (born January 1, 1961), and Tran Thi Ha (born April 7, 1960). Nguyen Thi Nhi, a single mother, was evacuated to the United States from Vietnam by way of Wake Island in June 1975.

Scope and content:

This collection is comprised of birth, death, marriage, baptism, and related family records kept by Nguyen Thi Nhi (born circa 1923) and her family, including Tran Ha Dung (born May 15, 1950), Tran Quoc Vu (born January 1, 1961), and Tran Thi Ha (born April 7, 1960). Nguyen Thi Nhi, a single mother, was evacuated to the United States from Vietnam by way of Wake Island in June 1975.

Gift of Dr. Tran Lee, granddaughter of Nguyen Thi Nhi, 2016.
Physical description:
Materials are in good condition. Many documents are on very thin, onion skin paper.
