Soldiers' letters; postmarks and postal covers; Confederate almanac; and veterans' scrapbook. Letters from sites including Elk River Bridge, Tennessee (1865); a letter by a woman who accompanied her medical officer husband (1864); a series of letters by Norman Allen to his wife and family (1864-65); postmarks; Confederate Army almanac (1864); patriotic envelopes unused, circa 1861-1865 in variations of patriotic, political and comic themes; scrapbook mostly of newspaper clippings pertaining to the Gettysburg Reunion of 1938 with later items through 1969.
