Scope and content:: Includes photographs of diesel locomotives showing color schemes for the Bicentennial diesel, the General Motor's EMD Fs, General Electric U-boats, Alco PAs, and Baldwin engines. Railroads are primarily from the Eastern and Midwestern United States and include Erie Railroad, Baltimore and Ohio, Chesapeake and Ohio, Delaware and Hudson, Gulf, Mobile and Ohio, Illinois Central, New York Central, Norfolk and Western, and Pennsylvania Railroad, but also includes the Sierra Railway in California.
