Scope and content:

Letters to Capt. James J. Meyler, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 1899-1901 (letters are addressed to Meyler in Los Angeles). Also Meyler's notebook, ca. 1880's, and announcements of his marriage to Frances B. Gebhard, 1891. There are also letters and postcards (1903-1917, undated) to Robert G. Meyler from his friends and relatives. Most letters to Robert Meyler are addressed to Los Angeles or New York.
