Elizabeth Watkins was the Dean of the Graduate Division, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, and Professor of History of Health Sciences at UCSF. This collection documents Watkins's research on hormone replacement therapy for her publication, "The Estrogen Elixir: A History of Hormone Replacement Therapy in America, 1986-2003." The records include survey responses, organized by responders' age, from the Saturday Evening Post's 1986 "Menopausal and Postmenopausal Women's Survey."
