This collection consists of the videotapes for the television program "Seeing Stars," weekly movie review show hosted by Jim Finnerty. The show ran from 1984 to 1985. The collection includes sample reels from 1983.

Biographical / historical:

Seeing Stars was a weekly movie review show hosted by Jim Finnerty in the mid-1980s. The program originally ran on the USA Network from June 9, 1984 to April 6, 1985, after which Hollywood Insider replaced it following the 1985 NHL Playoffs. Dick Crew founded Los Angles-based Dick Crew Productions in 1984 to produce Seeing Stars for the USA Network and national television syndication.
