Collection consists primarily of television Scripts and Production and research material related to the career of producer and director, Gene Reynolds. A large part of the collection includes materials for the television series "Lou Grant" (1977-82) and "M*A*S*H" (1971-80). Other television series include "Mr. Sunshine" (1985), "Anna And The King" (1972), "Karen" (1974-75), "Roll Out!" (1972-73), and "Room 222" (1969-71). Production material includes shooting schedules, cast lists, budget/time reports, credits, and script supervisor reports.

Biographical / historical:

Reynolds was born in Cleveland, Ohio, April 4, 1925; started his career in acting in the 1930s and appeared in films such as "Love Finds Andy Hardy" (1938), and "Boys Town" (1938); produced or directd television series such as, "Room 222" (1969-74), "M*A*S*H" (1972-76), and "Lou Grant" (1977-82).
