Album, mainly of portraits of actors and actresses ca. 1870-1880, but which also includes portraits of some royalty of that period, and other popular figures. Many of the portraits were identified only by last name or by title; many have been fully identified, but a certain number have not been positively identified. A few portraits were inserted into the album without names; these are mainly theater portraits, not portraits of royalty, etc.
