This collection contains correspondence, clippings, diaries, manuscripts, writings, notes, and other printed matter relating to Russian history, world affairs, and other subjects of interest to or on Andrei Lobanov-Rostovsky.

Lobanov-Rostovsky's library, including a set of publications of the Russian Orthodox Mission in Peking (Beijing), was donated to the Hoover Institution Library in 2011.

Biographical / historical:

A Russian-American historian, Prince Andrei Lobanov-Rostovsky was a specialist on Russo-Asian relations and a professor of Russian history at the University of Michigan and the University of California at Los Angeles.
