Scope and content:

Correspondence, writings, reports, appeals, and printed matter, relating to civil and human rights in Yugoslavia, and to Yugoslav dissidents. Includes records of the international Committee to Aid Democratic Dissidents in Yugoslavia and issues of the organization's CADDY Bulletin, and photocopies of correspondence and manuscript writings of Mihajlo Mihajlov. This collection, along with the Mihajlo Mihajlov miscellaneous papers at the Hoover Archives, provides a detailed record of the activities of CADDY, which sought to assist dissidents during the waning days of post-Tito Yugoslavia.

Yugoslav-American human rights advocate; editor, CADDY Bulletin.

Rusko Matulic worked with Mihajlo Mihajlov, the future Croatian leader Franjo Tudjman, and Serbian intellectual Momcilo Selic in CADDY during the 1980s and 1990s.
