The collection contains subject files on the various offices of the vice chancellors of UC Santa Barbara. Some of the Vice Chancellor titles present in the collection are no longer in use and cover responsibilities now assumed by other offices.

Biographical / historical:

UC Santa Barbara currently has six vice chancellors operating under the chancellor in the following offices: the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor, the Office of Administrative Services, the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Research, the Office of Institutional Advancement, and the Office of Budget and Planning.
