Scope and content:

The Tibor Flórián papers document Hungarian-American cultural and political activities, including responses to the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and activities on behalf of the Hungarian community in Transylvania, as well as Hungarian-language publishing in the United States, and international freedom for writers issues. Materials include correspondence with Hungarian émigrés, especially writers and journalists, mostly in the United States, South America, Germany and Australia; transcripts, sound recordings, and other materials of the Radio Free Europe Hungarian service; and Flórián's poetry, essays, and other writings.
