- Jerry B. Riseley (1920- ) was a author and a columnist for the Los Angeles Daily Journal. He wrote Adujutant's journal Second Battalion 503d Parachute Infantry (1989), Henry Miller's Tropic trial: a comedy-at-law (1969), The myth of Zorbo; lawyers, judges, buzzards, and skunks (1969), and Tomorrow the water: mystic millionaire George R. Houston's earthquake and oil geological predications as written for him (1970). The collection consists of Riseley's manuscripts, typescripts, legal papers, briefs, and clippings. Included are copies of Riseley's columns printed in the Los Angeles daily journal.
