Collection consists of scripts, drafts, and related materials for the following films: The Young Doctors, I Could Go on Singing, The Best Man, The Flim Flam Man, Pretty Poison, When Michael Calls, Give Me the World, Ordeal By Hunger, Project Pilgrim, Mister Sam, and The Graduate.

Biographical / historical:

Turman was born in Los Angeles, California, in 1926; attended UCLA; before becoming an independent producer, he was in the textile business; some of his films include: The Young Doctors (1961), I Could Go on Singing (1963), The Graduate (1967), The Marriage of a Young Stockbroker (1970), The Drowning Pool (1975), and Gang (1979).
