Biographical / historical:

The La Escuela Argentina de Los Angeles is a non-profit organization established in March 1983. In 1986, it moved its classes to USC at the invitation of Dr. Samuel Marck, one of the University's Assistant Vice Presidents. The school offers Saturday classes for children grades K-12 on the Castilian language, the history and geography of Latin America, and Spanish and Latin American literature.

The La Escuela Argentina de Los Angeles Records were donated by Dr. Samuel Marck, USC's Assistant Vice President of Civic and Community Relations.
