Scope and content:: This collection comprises programs, correspondence, clippings and financial records related to German soprano Lotte Lehmann (1888-1976). Also included is a type-written manuscript of a translation into English by Frances Holden of Lehmann's autobiography My Many Lives. In addition, the collection includes a run of Lotte Lehmann transcriptions for the Columbia Records Masterworks of Music radio series, mostly for the year 1941.
Arrangement:: The collection is divided into the following series: I. Correspondence, II. Radio Transcriptions, III. Programs, IV. Miscellaneous. Radio transcriptions have been organized alphabetically by subject.

Restrictions:: The collection is open for research. A portion of the collection is stored offsite. Advance notice is required for retrieval.
