Scope and content:

Various papers, including one letter to Chester Ferguson, 1930; three letters to Jane Stanford, 1904 (two from Horace Davis and one from S.F. Leib); one museum ledger of employee accounts, 1912-1913; two Exactus Photo Film Corporation brochures, 1915; and miscellaneous other papers, some perhaps unrelated to Harry C. Peterson. In addition, there are some 23 original photographs, ca. 1895-1920, primarily of the University Museum but also of the Stanford campus.

Biographical / historical:

Director of Stanford University Museum for 16 years. Also Director of California Historical Landmarks League and Vice-president of Exactus Photo.
