This collection contains glass plate negatives, photographs, and lantern slides of the Mexican Revolution that were taken by commercial photographer Sabino Osuna. Includes images of Francisco Madero, Victoriano Huerta, Alvaro Obregón, Emiliano Zapata, and Pancho Villa as well as street warfare during La Decena Trágica. The collection also features pieces from his commercial work.

Sabino Osuna had a career as a commerical photographer in Mexico City, Mexico. He specialized in portraits and architectural studies before the Mexican Revolution began. Osuna documented the war through his photography by capturing street battles and presidents, such as Francisco I. Madero.

Processing of the Sabino Osuna papers was completed by undergraduate students from the Univrsity of California, Riverside as part of the Special Collections & University Archives Backlog Processing Project started in 2015.
