Scope and content:

The Arc/k Project seeks to digitally capture and preserve humanities collective tangible and intangible culture in a variety of formats, including 3D and Virtual Reality. Prioritization of collected objects is often based on the threat level to the objects and/or locations. No CGI or other artificial modifications are employed to embellish the objects, only source images are used.

Biographical / historical:

The Arc/k Project and Institutional Assets and Monuments of Venezuela partnered together to document Venezuela's cultural heritage objects and locations in digital 3D format.

Acquisition information:
Source images donated by citizen volunteers, indigenous communities and non-profit organization partners. 3D models are processed and archived by the Arc/k Project

Restrictions:

In general, collections are publicly available online via the Arc/k Collections Website for scholarly research and cultural education. Some materials may be restricted due to cultural sensitivities as determined by related cultural stakeholders.
