This collection includes storyboard sketches for various scenes and 35mm contact prints of behind the scenes and production photographs of the motion picture Cloak & Dagger (1984) from Australian director Richard Franklin.

Biographical / historical:

Richard Franklin (1948-2007) was an Australian director and producer of horror, thriller, and drama films, and a graduate of USC's film program. Franklin forged a friendship with Alfred Hitchcock when he arranged a screening of Hitchcock's Rope (1948), Franklin invited Hitchcock to give a lecture at the university. Franklin went on to direct Psycho II (1983) among other films that paid homage to Hitchcock's catalog.

Gift of director and USC alumnus Richard Franklin in 1984.
