A collection of letters and manuscripts of botanists and nurserymen specializing in the discovery and cultivation of cacti and succulents. Correspondents in the collection include: Curt Backeberg, Neff K. Bakkers, Edgar M. Baxter, Nicholas E. Brown, Thomas MacDougall, and Ira L. Wiggins.

Biographical / historical:

Abbey Garden Press was founded by Scott Edson Haselton (1895-1991). Haselton began printing and publishing as part of the Catus and Succulent Society in 1929 and renamed the business Abbey Garden Press in 1938.
