This collection contains 65 V-mail written by Sergeant Wes Davidson, United States Army to his sweetheart Peggy Smith during the Second World War. Davidson served in Company F of the 185th Infantry Regiment. In Davidson's V-mail, he writes about his daily activities on a military base (base unknown).
Also included is a condensed version of Andrew Carroll's book "War Letters" and a newspaper clipping about a woman in search of someone to give her Second World War letters to.
