The Objects collection contains a variety of things from a variety of sources. Although there is no unifying principle, a great number of the objects relate to printmaking and book arts. These include movable type from 14th-century Korea, Braille printing plates, and some six dozen printing blocks, mostly wooden. There are also a large number of toys, dolls, and figurines, including more than fifty different Pinocchios. There are also several examples of cinematic and proto-cinematic apparatus, such as peep shows, praxinoscope images, and a projector bulb. Additionally, the collection contains a plethora of other items, including money from across the globe, miniature books, holiday greeting cards, weapons, and Swiss Christmas cookies.

- Materials in this collection are acquired by gift, transfer, and/or purchases from various sources. Source information, type and date of acquisition are recorded with their associated materials in the finding aid.
- Processing information:

Collections are processed to a variety of levels depending on the work necessary to make them usable, their perceived user interest and research value, availability of staff and resources, and competing priorities. Library Special Collections provides a standard level of preservation and access for all collections and, when time and resources permit, conducts more intensive processing.
