This collection consists of materials used by Beverly Anderson for the preparation of local history and government for her classroom and the school district. Includes materials about Wren Avenue School, Concord, other cities, and the curriculum she developed. Other subjects include Native American, Spanish and Mexican period, coal mines, and correspondence. The History Center also has copies of the slides mentioned in the slide show scripts.

Beverly Anderson was a third grade teacher at Wren Avenue School in Concord (part of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District) from 1964–1993. She developed a program for the school district in teaching local history and government.
