This collection includes memoranda, reports, manuals, publications, notebooks, outlines and text for presentations, email printouts, patents, slides, and videos pertaining to research and product development for Silicon Graphics and its customers; collection also includes Akeley's notes from a class with Jim Clark, 1987.

Biographical / historical:

Kurt Akeley, one of the founders of Silicon Graphics, Incorporated, earned his M.S.E.E. from Stanford University in 1982. He has published papers on computer graphics architectures and taught courses on graphics programming at the annual SIGGRAPH conferences.
