The collection includes information about the Los Angeles Men's Collective, a group of men organized during the late 1970s in support of feminist thinking and activity, as well as information about the early gatherings of the Radical Faeries. Bill Fishman (William Lazard Fishman) was born on February 14, 1949. He was a member of both the Los Angeles Men's Collective and the Radical Faeries. His letter entitled "We All Know" was published in the Gay Community News, volume 6(43), May 26, 1979.
