Maisie Dittnock's papers include certificates and diplomas from area schools and colleges, and portraits of the Sacramento High School riding club (1938). Charles Dittnock's papers document his work for the U.S. Post Office in Sacramento and include union cards and DMV ID cards, 1947 employee records, and four portraits of Sacramento post office employees (1949-1969). Julia Dittnock's papers consist of vocal recital programs (1928, 1929). Also included in the collection are views of the Playland train at William Land Park in Sacramento (1947); four photographs with views of the American Freedom train in Sacramento (1948); tickets and printed material from the 1956 Republican National Convention in San Francisco; and numerous programs for theater performances in San Francisco and Sacramento (1937-1964).

Born in 1886, Julia Dittnock resided in Sacramento her entire life. Julia married Arthur Dittnock (1886-1968) and had two children, Charles (b. 1917) and Maisie (b. 1920). Charles Dittnock graduated from Sacramento High School and served as a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Sacramento for over 20 years. Maisie Dittnock graduated from Sacramento High School in 1939 and went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree from Sacramento Junior College (1941). She married Kenneth D. Wennesheimer in 1942 and taught at Joseph Bonnheim School in Sacramento for manyyears. In 1957, Maisie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sacramento State College.
