- Biographical / historical:
-
Voces de los Artistas, from Minnesota, is a community based art affinity group established on November 28, 2016. The group – inspired by the art affinity model of Gran Fury of the ACT UP movement – works in direct collaboration with the Voces de la Frontera staff and produces banners, screen printed picket signs, and other forms of creative activism for the movement. VDLA also documents Voces actions through photography and videography, and creates boxsets for public archives so that these tactics and histories are taught and share.
